Description Christopher Martin 2006-12-30 17:51:39 UTC
Version: 1.4.1 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

Minimize and unminimize Gwenview, and Gwenview redraws the image. If the image is zoomed, perhaps at a high level of quality, then Gwenview can take a long time to redisplay the image. Shouldn't the image be stored somewhere for instant redisplay, rather than re-zoomed every time the window is displayed?

Gwenview should be smarter at avoiding unnecessary work. Thanks!

Same problem, switching window or overlapped by other windows... That is not so nice...

KView can fast redisplay, without waste cpu usage and takes decades of seconds...

Would be very nice

It has been fixed on gwenview 2.0.
