Version: 0.9.0 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Installed from: Fedora RPMs OS: Linux when using fix->USM (but not only) the dialog with preview blinks the icons for zoom, mode, OK, Abort button and Original, Target preview pane like when changing zoom level. It all happens continuously without any user interaction. I have screenshots to illustrate the problem.
Created attachment 19010 [details] screenshots
it looks like showFoto is the same, so it is really a plugin problem??
Hi Gilles, I reported the bug. FC6 had some libkipi updates , but the bug persists. What can I do to help you? Petr, The Image editor plugins are DigikamImagePlugins not Kipi-Plugins. Try to remove the icons to show on KDE button using KDE control Pannel... Gilles
I cannot reproduce this problem here. I'm using Plastik theme and icon for button option. The problem sound like a layout management pb with widget embeded into the settings area of plugin. The width of this area is certainly changed when the settings widgets are disable during computation (duing a wrong setting of theme certainly). Are you the same pb If you try to use USM tool with an horizontally oriented picture ? Are you the same pb If you change the KDE theme ? Gilles
Gilles, I have plastik with show icons on buttons, enable tooltips, I tried with KDE Classic , Keramik and it works ok, I think. There was like one redraw with Classic theme, it seemed to me the window is settling down or resizing components to fit, or it works on the target preview. But it is all right, AFAIK. When setting Style back to Plastik the bug is back. Resizing the dialog doesn't help. I will use different theme as workaround, but there is a problem with Plastik. Also do not forget it is the same with many of the plugins. Picture format has no influence, portrait or landscape. >I have plastik with > show icons on buttons, > enable tooltips, Ok, give me some screenshots of your KDE control center to try to reproduce the problem, especially the theme settings and th fonts settings (perhaps the problem come from fonts used to draw widget with plastik) I have an idea to fix this problem on my computer but it's not easy to test if i can't reproduce the pb... Gilles
Gilles, ok, will take me some time.
