Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Installed from: Compiled From Sources OS: Linux It would be really helpful to have an option in the Crop tool so that the crop box width-to-height ratio is kept constant at a predetermined value; typical ratios would be selectable (and possibly a custom ratio as well); this ratios would cover the typical printing ratios (and their inverses), for example: () 6/4 () 4/6 () 10/8 () 8/10 () 11/8.5 () 8.5/11 () 19/13 () 13/19 () Custom Of course, in this mode the Crop box would be resizable, but the ratio is enforced. This would be a great help when doing creative cropping for pics that need to be printed in a photo Lab, and when cropping different images that later on will have to be resized to fit equal image placeholder. Thanks!

Just found that the feature is already implemented. I love digikam.
