Description Simon Braunschmidt 2006-12-11 16:43:36 UTC
Version: 3.2.0 (using KDE KDE 3.5.1KDE 1.2)
Installed from: SuSE RPMsSuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

i work on a project in kdevelop where i regularly have about 20 or more files open (c++ header&implementation), due to almost no documentation for the code.

i really would love to have an extra line of tabs for the opened files, or at least an option to set the fontsize and type for the tabs, they really waste too much screenspace.

ideally, tabs would stack like header/implementation (the header/implementation switching does not work for me, i suppose due to different directories for the .h and .cpp file), and have an option to regroup them so that the files i spent most time looking at would be first

KDevelop 3.2.0 was released on 2005-03-16 and it is therefore very old:
http://www.kdevelop.org/index.html?filename=versions.html

KDevelop 3.4 RC2 is almost finished and it can do header/implementation switching with different directories. That might help.

Please take a look at all the features you are missing:
http://www.kdevelop.org/index.html?filename=3.3/features.html

You can get the latest KDevelop 3.4 SVN here:

Simon, why do you comment on a whishlist bug and then open a new one for the exact same thing?

Closing this as a duplicate.
