Closing groupchat window shouldn't make the user leave it, at least if the groupchat is in our contact list.

For example, one would want to be able to close all opened IRC chans windows to make space on the desktop, without parting from them.

The same goes for the jabber groupchat. It is REALLY annoying.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
