Description Adam Porter 2006-11-26 07:27:14 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

I like to browse Flickr for wallpaper, but when I save one to disk, it defaults to a name full of random numbers and letters. A much better solution would be to paste the URL to Digikam and have it import the image from Flickr into the local store, and let you choose the Flickr tags you want to assign to the image. That way you don't have to manually assign all the tags to it. Ideally you'd be able to blacklist certain tags so they'd never be imported, so you wouldn't have to manually deselect them every time.

Vardhman, FWIW, this wish is similar to what I would like to do for "websync" as we've previously discussed... Not sure how it would help your implementation as things stand however, but thought it was worth mentioning.

Adam,

This file still valid using kipi-plugins 0.1.6 ?

Giles, I'm sorry, I don't understand what you mean. Has this feature been added?

Adam,

Please try with kipi-plugins 0.3.0 for KDE4 and check if this entry is valid. I'm not sure if it have been implemented

I'm sorry, I'm on Kubuntu Hardy and am not in a position to test
current KDE4 code. Please correct me if there's a feasible way to do
it on Hardy.

Closing this to merge the discussions with 175327, where it's happening this week.
