Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from:    Gentoo Packages
Compiler:          gcc (GCC) 4.1.1 (Gentoo 4.1.1) 
OS:                Linux

Under the "printers" configuration tab, when clicking "Print Manager"->"CUPS Server" and modifying the data under "Host:", if the hostname contains a space at the end, the program will not connect to the printer server. Final spaces should be chopped off (idea: maybe other things could be checked, too like :631 at the end of the hostname, etc.)

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug. Kcontrol has been replaced by System Settings in Plasma. Please give the latest version of that a try, and open a new bug in "systemsettings" if you continue to have an issue. Thank you!
