Description Diniz Bortolotto 2006-11-14 02:43:08 UTC
Version: 1.11.4 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Slackware Packages
OS: Linux

The Catalog Manager is showing me, below "CVS/SVN status" column, the message "Local Copy Error" for all po files.

This occurs also with that po files with de green icon indicating that all the messages are translated.

I discovered, using validating tool, the problem is "english text in translation". But it isn't always a problem. Any "msgid" havent a localized "msgstr".

See at SVN, for example, the file
svn.kde.org/home/kde/branches/stable/l10n/pt_BR/messages/extragear-security/ \ desktop_extragear-security_pwmanager.po in the 5th message.

"English text in translation" is normal in many cases. It just mean that translation is copy of the original. The real problem with catalogmanager is that it doesn't have support for subversion 1.4.
