Description Giorgio 2006-11-13 22:55:04 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs

I have tried to use kpilot trying to recover calendar, activity,
contacts, and other data recorded on palm Tungsten/e. I had made a hot
sync with my pc in linux (with kpilot) but after hot sync I have founded
into kpilot only the contacts while the activities, the calendar records
were not into kpilot but overall were lost completely from the palm.

Do you help me in order to use kpilot wit my palm Tungsten/e? I would
like to recovery my Tungsten/e data using linux avoiding to use windows!!!

I am using Kpilot 4.6.0 (blvit) kde 3.5.5 with cooker.

Hi!

Quite some debian users has also experienced this in http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=394534 which I believe is the same thing.

I think that libpisock has changed, but there has not been much codechange in kpilot afaics.

It could actually be related to
http://bugs.jpilot.org/1751
but I am not completely sure.

Thank you for contacting me about the problem.
I hope it is possible to resolve the problem so it will be possible to
sync palm with o.s. Linux without use windows.

In this moment unfortunately sinking palm is better in windows than in
linux but I hope it is possible to change!!!

Best Regards
Giorgio

Presumed fixed in kde 3.5.5+, merged from KPilot SVN. Tested in Debian.
