Description Tarlika Elisabeth Schmitz 2006-11-11 15:21:16 UTC
Version: 1.9.1 (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

In my inbox, I have one email which contains a single quoted line (4th level). It is shown with a '+' symbol, i.e. the quote is collapsed.

In the preview pane, collapse/expand can be toggled ok.

However, if the message is opened in a window, the quote cannot be expanded. The mouse pointer changes to a hand over the '+' but clicking does not do anything.

I saved the email as .eml [using Thunderbird] so I could attach it to the bug report. When I double-click the .eml file it opens in KMail and the quote can be expanded.

I can confirm this with the current enterprise version.

Still there in Version 4.3.2 :-(

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
