Description FACORAT Fabrice 2006-11-09 14:27:06 UTC
Version: 0.9.0-0.beta3 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs
OS: Linux

Digikam doesn't show the movies on my camera.
I have a Panasonic DMC-FZ5 ( configured in digikam as a Panasonic DMC-FZ20 ), whereas digikam show correctly the photo on my camera ( PTP mode ), it doesn't show the movies ( .mov ) on the camera.
I checked in the configurations, and digikam is supposed to show .mov. Or else we can't import video from a camera at present with digikam ?

Fabrice,

This is a limitation of gphoto2 drivers witch cannot display movies files.

Please report this problem in gphoto2 buzzilla.

The future alternative, if your camera support UMS mode, is to use the driver from digiKam.

actually it can't display movies files, but i have a patch on my computer (to finalize) to support it. I will commit this patch later than 0.9.0 final release.
