Description Alan Horkan 2006-11-08 18:13:28 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.1KDE 1.2)
Installed from: Compiled From SourcesCompiled From Sources

It would be great if KAtomic included more detailed information about the various molecules.
For example it would be great to have H2O displayed correctly with the subscript.

Also in some cases it might be useful to provide less technical descriptions:
H20 is commonly known as Water but sometimes referred to as Aqua (most often seen on food ingredients).
C2H5OH is Ethanol but commonly known as Alcohol

This request is vaguely related to the idea that the educational apects of KAtomic can be improved without making the game any less fun. (KAtomic beats Gnome Atomix on that score because KAtomic deosn't force you to complete levels but allows you to explore.)

Bug 65134: adding edu stuff to the game and move it to kdeedu

same sentiment but hopefully my suggestion is easier to implement and it makes no odds to me where KAtomic is packaged.

This request is similar to a request I filed against Gnome Atomix

Hi Alan!
Yes, we plan to include this functionality in KAtomic in near future...

Stay tuned ;).
