Description paul-a-bauer 2006-11-07 18:43:08 UTC
Version:           0.9.0-beta3 (using KDE 3.5.5 "release 19.1" , openSUSE )
Compiler:          Target: i586-suse-linux
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.13-15.12-default

"Email Images" should be reached under "Album" > "Export" because
a) sending emails is also a sort of export feature;
b) one mostly sends more than one picture per email, while "Image" is associated with the manipulation or whatever of "one" picture,

This wish is invalid. If you want to send by mail more than one image at the same time, just take a selection in current album and start the plugin. You can use also drag and drop.

Also the plugin is categorized to work on images, not on albums. This is a property of plugin witch is used by other kipi host applications (showimg, kphotoalbum, gwenview). If we change this property for digiKam, it will change too to other host... And this property have been discuted in the past with others kipi host application teams.

The new Send by Mail tool from digiKam core is now able to handle albums selection. It hosted to Tool menu to be more generic.
