Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages Help page for knetworkconf KControl module shows garbage and HTML text instead of rendered page. It is OK for other modules. Interestingly, when one of subchapters is opened, and then using "Back" I move to main page of help, it is shown OK, so the generated documentation is OK. You can also confirm it by showing help:/knetworkconf in Konqueror. It happens also for translated docs (it has been originally spotted in Polish docs). It has been confirmed on 2 different distributions (KateOS and Kubuntu). I will attach a screenshot showing the problem.

I can confirm this in Kubuntu 6.10 Edgy w/ KDE 3.5.5. This is for EN or C. No translations here.
I get the same with SVN branch compiled on FreeBSD, so it's not a Kubuntu problem. I tried a few of the more obvious things (changing the docbook version used, changing <book> to <article> to match the other control center module docs, modifying the Makefile.am to match other control center docs), but none seems to change the behaviour.
Still a problem in KDE 4.1 Beta 2 on Kubuntu Intrepid https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdeadmin/+bug/57831
