Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages OS: Linux I have a perfectly working VNC server on my pc. Krdc used to connect to it just fine but now when I try to connect it spews a "Connection to Host interrupted" dialog box. Which is crap if I just connected fine via vncviewer. Here's the output after running it off of terminal: mattdawolf@mobilewolfden:~$ krdc VNC server supports protocol version 3.8 (viewer 3.3) No authentication needed Desktop name "mattdawolfsden:0" Connected to VNC server, using protocol version 3.3 VNC server default format: 16 bits per pixel. Hi, this bug has been also reported via the Debian BTS (see: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=389750). The bug is reproducible if the server is running x11vnc version 0.8.2 and if in "Connection type:" you select "Low Quality".
Hi! This bug has already been fixed by x11vnc upstream. The version that fixes this bug is 0.8.4. So, I think it is not a krdc bug, so this report can be closed. Thanks! Pau Tallada.
It seems not to be a krdc bug, there has been no activity for a while, and no one said it hasn't been soleved for him/her with x11vnc >= 0.8.4. For that reason I close this bug marking it as invalid.
