Version: 3.5.5 (using KDE 3.5.5, Kubuntu (edgy) 4:3.5.5-0ubuntu3) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.17-10-generic There seems to be a big problem printing images at their original dpi using the kde printer backend. Now I found out that kviewshell can preview my scanned jpg image and when I rightclick on this picture I can choose actions -> print and in this printer dialog there is an image tab under printer properties that lets me choose 'original size' for image siz (and a lot of other userful settings like brightness/hue/saturation/gamma) If kviewshell is just a plugin/kpart? for kview to view images in konqueror, why is this tab missing in kviews printer dialog? I am glad I found the work-around, but would prefer to have the kviewshell printing options just out of kview.
Kview is no more mantained/developed. This bug wish will not be fixed until a new developer will work on it. Moreover this product is not ported to KDE4. On KDE4 it has been replaced by another software. I'm closing this bug as "unmantained". I'm sorry. Regards.
