Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.4) Installed from: Compiled From Sources OS: Linux When a value is entered for the 'Name' field and the 'Value' field in the first row of the table and without getting into the next row if 'Print' is selected the value entered in the 'Value' field is not populated in the argument list when the cups error-log is checked for the command line arguments. e.g. If the string “user” is entered for the 'Name' field and “10” entered for the 'Value' field and without getting into the next row if 'Print' is selected the cups error-log shows the following arguments. StartJob: argv = "Printer","90","guest","printers.html","1","user= multiple-document-handling=separate-documents-collated-copies","/var/spool/cups/d00090-001" This will eventually cause a problem when you enter 10 entries for the 'Name-Value' pair in the table on the 'Additional Tags' page and select 'Print' the last value in the 'Value' field will not be populated into the argument list.
Yes, it's a known issue that this part of the interface is a little bit balky and mulish. It also doesn't remember the values, and doesn't provide a means to "Save values". However, you *can* use all 10 entry lines. Once you entered the last value, just click on one of the 9 lines above the 10th before you hit "Print". I'm afraid, this won't be fixed during the KDE 3.5.x timeline. Hopefully, for KDE4 we will have something better for this purpose.
