Version: 1.4.4 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Compiler: gcc (GCC) 4.1.1 (Gentoo 4.1.1) OS: Linux Eager to test he magnatune integration, I surfed magnatune and purchased an album via the dialog. I really presse dno button twice - but I was charged twice, with two consecutive approval IDs. Please check the code for the possibility of a systematic bug in this regard - I'm a bit reluctant to test this further, as paying 20 bucks instead of 10 is a bit too much for my taste :( kind regards, Tom Regner
SVN commit 600999 by nhnielsen: fixing bug that allows possible multiple payments for the same Magnatune track. Repported and worked around by John at Magnatune but this is the root fix M +8 -0 magnatunepurchasedialog.cpp M +5 -0 magnatunepurchasedialog.h M +5 -2 magnatunepurchasedialogbase.ui M +1 -0 magnatunepurchasehandler.cpp
cool!
Tom, I am really sorry this happened. You should contact John at Magnatune.com to get a refund of you 10 dollars if he has not already contacted you (He is aware of the problem and told me he had contacted the people affected)
Nikolaj - thanks for the reaction - you shouldn't feel too sorry - I'm old enough to know that new fetaures are likely to have bugs - I simply had to try it, I thinks it's a great feature!
Maybe it would be a good idea to release like Amarok 1.4.4.5 or something, because this is something that needs to be fixed ASAP!
no, we dont need another release. John from magnatune has put some safeguards in place to ensure these accidental purchases dont occur. On 5 Nov 2006 20:52:24 -0000, Troels Just <tsuroerusu@gmail.com> wrote: [bugs.kde.org quoted mail]
