Album-icon did not change ( preview image was not shown, i.e. still plain kde-folder-icon ). After restarted digikam the album icon changed to the selected preview-image.
this appears to be same problem I had, see 136138, fixed in SVN

Hi Gilles What's "svn"? I'm only familiar with installing deb archives and don't have the ability to compile digikam from source. Maybe you known a source for apt-get where I can find newer deb versions ? kind regards Manuel Koch -----Urspr
Manuel, SVN is where the 'latest and greatest' version of digikam is developed and it would involve compiling from source. However www.digikam.org indicates the release candidate is due anytime now (first week of November) so an updated .deb will, I expect, be along shortly. D.
