Version: 4.6.0 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages Hi, when I add, delete or change an event on my palm tx they are synced to korganizer. When I add an event in korganizer this is not synced to the palm. When I add an event on the palm, sync, delete it in korganizer and sync again, it was deleted on the palm. When I add an event on the palm, sysc, change it in korganizer and sync, it was deleted on the palm. I close kontact and korganizer when syncing. There are some older bugreports with a bug like this, but they are shown as resolved in older versions. Please tell me, if I can help with some more information (or if it is my mistake). Regards Frank
I can confirm this behaviour. This happens also when I synch with a fresh calendar or if I sync with another application: On first sync, kpilot transfers from pilot to korganizer but the pilot calender is then cleared. Nearby it would be great option to resume from this if I can just copy the whole calendar to the pilot as my korganizer data is still present.
I can confirm this bug with Treo 600 KDE Version 4.6.0 (blivit) (KDE 3.5.5 "release 45.4" , openSUSE 10.2) 1 Application This conduits syncs the Addressbook on the handheld to KDE's standard addressbook. 1 Operating System Linux (i686) release 2.6.18.8-0.3-default 1 Compiler Target: i586-suse-linux I did the first sync to copy my address book to Korganizer. The sync went fine and all my data is in Korganizer, but all the calendar records were wiped out on Treo. I can't get the data back onto the Treo even when setting General Setup to "Copy PC to Handheld." The calendar is still blank. dbScan shows: 0 records An asside I am also using DateBook6 on the Treo Thanks in advance
One more thing - when I turned on debugging, this is what I get. About 4000 lines of this: kpilotDaemon: ERROR: [virtual PilotRecord* PilotSerialDatabase::readRecordById(recordid_t)] Encountered an invalid record id 136982536 kpilotDaemon: ERROR: [virtual PilotRecord* PilotSerialDatabase::readRecordById(recordid_t)] Encountered an invalid record id 136317864 kpilotDaemon: ERROR: [virtual PilotRecord* PilotSerialDatabase::readRecordById(recordid_t)] Encountered an invalid record id 152531720 kpilotDaemon: ERROR: [virtual PilotRecord* PilotSerialDatabase::readRecordById(recordid_t)] Encountered an invalid record id 149952760 kpilotDaemon: ERROR: [virtual PilotRecord* PilotSerialDatabase::readRecordById(recordid_t)] Encountered an invalid record id 144401728 kpilotDaemon: ERROR: [virtual PilotRecord* PilotSerialDatabase::readRecordById(recordid_t)] Encountered an invalid record id 135862960 kpilotDaemon: ERROR: [virtual PilotRecord* PilotSerialDatabase::readRecordById(recordid_t)] Encountered an invalid record id 154029448 kpilotDaemon: ERROR: [virtual PilotRecord* PilotSerialDatabase::readRecordById(recordid_t)] Encountered an invalid record id 136328328 kpilotDaemon: ERROR: [virtual PilotRecord* PilotSerialDatabase::readRecordById(recordid_t)] Encountered an invalid record id 159291608 kpilotDaemon: ERROR: [virtual PilotRecord* PilotSerialDatabase::readRecordById(recordid_t)] Encountered an invalid record id 155278200 kpilotDaemon: ERROR: [virtual PilotRecord* PilotSerialDatabase::readRecordById(recordid_t)] Encountered an invalid record id 144401416 kpilotDaemon: ERROR: [virtual PilotRecord* PilotSerialDatabase::readRecordById(recordid_t)] Encountered an invalid record id 136970992 kpilotDaemon: ERROR: [virtual PilotRecord* PilotSerialDatabase::readRecordById(recordid_t)] Encountered an invalid record id 158448088 kpilotDaemon: ERROR: [virtual PilotRecord* PilotSerialDatabase::readRecordById(recordid_t)] Encountered an invalid record id 161769944

I can confirm this with my Treo 650: I copied everything from the pda to korganizer. Everythng went fine. Then I created a new event in korganizer, but no matter what I do, it won't be synced to the Treo. The other way from the Treo to korganizer works. gentoo KDE 3.5.8 kpilot 4.9.2-358 Cheers Florian
New day, new system: Got to work, synced my imap folders to a kubuntu system. Synced my Treo with that system and got my newly added event! kubuntu KDE: 3.5.8 kpilot: 4.9.2-358 So the problem is (at leas for me) gentoo related!
Yeah, this should definitely be fixed in KDE 4.2's KPilot. Please give it a go, everyone. Thank you for the bug report!! Also, I'd really appreciate your help in testing out KPilot from the really-soon-to-be-released KDE 4.2!!! =:)
