Version: svn 597014 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Installed from: Slackware Packages OS: Linux i got bad sound on last.fm stream [xine-engine]. the sound is skipped, chopped, my network is good. and it works by the way with last.fm player.
Can't reproduce; works fine for me with SVN trunk. Could be that the server had problems when you tried to listen.
i still have this pb with 1.4.4. IT WORKS WITH LAST.FM PLAYER so it is NOT a server problem. how could you say that ! i can't record /dev/dsp here to make you listen to that garbage. You can listen to the tune but there is some quirk and scruch etc ...
Ok, but I still can't reproduce it, and I have no idea what the problem could be. Also, I've never seen this reported before. You could try consulting our forums; maybe someone has an idea.
Created attachment 19137 [details] for the non-believers or those who do not care do you want to listen to it ?
i have found that that problem was caused by the ad filtering proxy i used to use bfiter.
