Description Stefan Borggraefe 2006-10-17 10:11:00 UTC
Version: 0.12.3 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

This is a usability bug.

Status icons for jabber transports don't blink like icons for real acoounts when connecting. Thus you don't know whether anything is happening when you change such a transport from offline to online state.

I think this is applicable to KDE3 only. KDE4 reports connection with one icon for all accounts.
Comment 2 Josh Berry 2008-07-08 08:12:14 UTC
Since the UI has changed for KDE4, and Kopete in KDE3 is in bugfix-only mode, I'm closing this bug. Please give Kopete in KDE4 a try, and see if it provides sufficient feedback.
