Version: 0.12.2 (using KDE 3.5.2, Kubuntu Package 4:3.5.2-0ubuntu18.1 dapper) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.15-27-686 I am not really familiar with what can be considered "the" icon theme for Kopete. However, i am using Kubuntu and in Kopete 0.12.2, in the toolbar over the contact list, there is a button for "add contact" (with a huge plus). It shows a stylized person with a, how to say, quite Hitler-lookalike haircut. At least this is how Hitler is usually portrayed as a carricature or in a cartoon. The steep line of hair going down on the right side gives the icon an agressive touch. Personally i find it funny -- how easy some pixels can give a wrong impression :) --, but i can imagine sooner or later somebody will be offended. I know "contact" icons showing stylized people can be a pain to design. The icons usually picture some WASP business men. -- Most people i add to my contacts are probably long-haired hippies. Maybe some more abstraction could do it. This is a very low priority "bug" report. Best greetings to all Kopete devs and keep up the good work!
Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained. Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
