Description Frans Englich 2006-10-10 16:25:09 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources

I use Kopete with a single IRC account with 12 contact, from my KDE address book. When I startup Kopete, the contacts aren't in the list since I'm not connected. Once I've connected, the contacts appear.

The bug I encounter concerns connecting: I have to click the icon in the right corner and select Online/Offline/Online/Offline/Online before my I am connected and my contacts appear. Quite cumbersome.

Why do I run into this bug? I presume the correct way to connect is to select "Online".

Is using Kopete 0.11.3 although that isn't selectable in the list, with KDE 3.5.4.

A second crash

Another crash. Looks like it crashes in the same function, although it's called
from a different path in this trace. Yes, the backtraces could be more useful..

Reopen if you can reproduce with a current Kopete and a debug-enabled backtrace.
