Version: 3.5.4 (using KDE 3.5.4 "release 71.1" , openSUSE ) Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.16.13-4-default if I hold the mouse over an image in konqueror, there is a preview displayed with image-information like exif. but it does not work with jpeg-images in grey-color, then, there is only a color-crizzled image displayed.
can you put the image somewhere to allow people to do some test? you can also send me the image via email.... redfox26@videotron.ca
it should work with every grey-image: take a color-jpg-image, convert it with gimp (i use 2.3.7) to grey-mode, and save it... ..oh, i tried to generate a test-image for you, and noticed, that the image should have some min-size (pixel/bytes? don't know..). the bug seems not to appear with 400x300, but with 1024x768 and bigger the test-image is attached. it is viewable with every other program like gimp/gwenview. Very curious, confirming for 3.5.5
this is still not fixed for kde 3.5.8!
It has been fixed on 3.5.9. On KDE 4 the preview feature on the tooltip hasn't been implemented yet on dolphin.
