Description jeff 2006-09-26 02:53:56 UTC
Version: 1.4.3 (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

I can see the tag and add the files to my collection. All the tags are correct except the "genre" tag which is always blank. When I try to change it, I get the message "Sorry, the tag for the following files could not be changed:" I can not change any of the other field either, but they are correctly imported. (the file is not write only).

Thanks

No doubt you are using the internal amarok mp4 tag reader - tag writing support was removed because it can corrupt files.

You'd need to recompile with the external mp4 tag writer support
