Description Fraser Ruffell 2006-09-25 16:40:58 UTC
Version: 1.9.1 (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc version 4.1.1
OS: Linux

I am using Kmail with disconnected IMAP, and have setup several filters to move incoming messages to various folders based on who the sender is, or what the subject is. The filters move the mail, but in the process mark the messages as read, and therefore I am never notified that certain folders contain new mail. I did some testing, and even if I add the explicit action to the filters to mark the message as new and unread after moving, the message still appears to be read. This is a show stopper, since they only way to see if new mail has arrived is to manually examine each folder and look at the date for the most recent messages.
