Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.4) Installed from: Gentoo Packages OS: Linux Discussions about all sorts of subjects could be helped a lot if the user instantly gets related information about the subject while chatting. Learning by Talking, so to speak. Kopete could extract keywords from the discussion and provide a hint to the user, like "Click to see what Wikipedia says about <SUBJECT>." Multiple links to Wikipedia articles could be provided, to increase chances that the listed links actually contain subjects that the user is interested in at that moment. It seems that KDE4 may get a Wikipedia integration framework for implementing this sort of thing.
Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained. Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
