The fault is that you cannot export albums to CD thru the Digikam/kipi feature. Previous bugs have been lodged for a similar fault. The solution to those faults however, was to include the --nofork option. I have already that option enabled before I have lodged this bug, but still the fault is occurring. I'm not sure but i start believing the problem is some where else... Can you try disabling html interface? I mean only to backup on cd. Let me know. Angelo
Maintaner Debian KDE extras team. Version installed 0.1+rc1-ubuntu2. --nofork enabled under media burning options. included the snapshots showing --nofork (1) and kipi version (2) On Sun, 2006-09-24 at 20:03 +0000, Angelo Naselli wrote: [bugs.kde.org quoted mail] Created an attachment (id=17908) snapshot1.png Created an attachment (id=17909) snapshot2.png
> Maintaner Debian KDE extras team. > Version installed 0.1+rc1-ubuntu2. rc1 is a bit old. And have some bugs in html interface. Unfortunately some of them are also in the 0.1.2 (last stable version). But i strongly recommend you to test cd archive without using html, and if you can ask for kipi-plugins 0.1.2 to ubuntu packagers. Angelo
Disabling HTMLinterface does allow it to work. On Mon, 2006-09-25 at 13:35 +0000, Angelo Naselli wrote: [bugs.kde.org quoted mail]
Am I suppossed to do someting with this ? Not sure what to do with it. On Tue, 2006-09-26 at 05:38 +0000, Gilles Caulier wrote: [bugs.kde.org quoted mail]
> Disabling HTMLinterface does allow it to work. It should be fixed then. but we should find the offending file(s). Take a look at old fixed bugs such as bug #131284, bug #101656 and bug #128125 and so on. Unfortunately yours is a very old version, so it isn't easy to understand if it's fixed or not.
Please use a new kipi-plugins version and if you find the problem again, reopen it. Angelo
