Description Unknown 2006-09-21 14:08:25 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

if I set my accounts online, kopete does not use the specified message, e.g. no message.
It restores always the previously used message.
This is at least the behavior for MSN account, other accounts I couldn't verify yet.

Ciao

Global status message area keeps message when using the global online action from the toolbar. It should probably reset the message to no message when connecting globally. No status message is seen on the other side, so it's a Kopete-only UI issue.

Partially confirmed in kde4 (kopete 0.50.80): the status "Offline" isn't overwritten when going online.

Should be fixed in KDE 4.2 or later, if it's not please reopen.
