Description Axel Braun 2006-09-21 14:01:54 UTC
Version: 1.9.4 (using KDE 3.5.4 "release 59.1" , openSUSE )
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.13-15.11-default

Set KMail to 'Offline' and have the option 'check mail on startup' enabled, then shut it down.
Assume you have no network connection, when you start KMail next time, it checks the accounts first for new mail, resulting in tons of 'Server not found' mails, before the box to ask if you want to stay offline appears.
Expected behaviour: Do not check for mail when 'offline' indicator is set. If switched to online, new mail sahll be checked in case the 'Check mail on startup' is enabled
Comment 1 Axel Braun 2006-09-21 14:02:52 UTC
Eh, 'Server not found' messages, not mails of course
