Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.4) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages when an account in kopete disconnects accidently, it shows a blocking pop up that just allows to press "OK". if this happens because of no connectivity, each account present several of these pop-ups which is really annoying (I already know that I am disconnected, I don't need this information 10 times) It would be nice, if these informational pop-ups just be passive ones, similar to the "user is now away, user is now online" pop-ups. Similar to this it could offer an action-link for a forced reconnect try (even though, after a disconnect, kopete should silently try to reconnect and give me a short, also passive information saying "acount xy connected") Ciao /dirk
Please provide information on which protocols you see this popup with.
so far I have seen this with Yahoo, MSN, ICQ and AOL, so pretty much all protocols in use in my setup at the moment.

..., jabber very very annoying and still present at kdenetwork3-InstantMessenger-3.5.9-28.3.
Currently using Kopete in KDE4 0.50.1 and I can confirm this although with a different technique. If I sign in elsewhere on a protocol that doesn't allow multiple logins the main window will pop up a box saying that there has been another sign in somewhere which results in you being logged out here. This will not come to the front or have any indication of fanfare (I normally have my Kopete main window visible so I don't know if it will pop up from a Sys tray icon) but will result in all other Kopete windows including all chats being blocked until OK is clicked.
I believe we've fixed the majority of these. If there are still popups that are so annoying that they block your ability to work, please file bugs regarding those specific popups
