Version: 3.5.2 (using KDE 3.5.2, Kubuntu Package 4:3.5.2-0ubuntu18.1 dapper) Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.15-27-386 After reading that I can (and it works) access the history/bookmark sidebar, I can now use it, but it is still not on the toolbar menu: it was there, but has gone. I am a new user of kubuntu, and it is brilliant, but does not have the repair capabilities of Mr Gates' OS.
This may be a kubuntu bug and not a kde one.
