Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.4) Installed from: Ubuntu RPMs When the UID column header is sorted, the UIDs aren't sorted by the UID value but by the UID's first character value. For example, if we have the UIDs 9, 71, 821, 6321 when the column is sorted they will appear as 6321, 71, 821,9.
It was a problem on systemsettings used by kubuntu in kde3. actually kubuntu has adopted kde4. If you are still having problem, please inform us.

After a quick look I've noticed that Kubuntu 8.10 now relies on kuser v3.9 to manage user accounts, which doesn't suffer from this particular bug.
