Description heavytull 2006-09-14 23:11:47 UTC
Version: 1.8.2 (using KDE KDE 3.4.2)
Installed from: Slackware Packages
OS: Linux

when network is down Kmail pops up an error window saying "Unknown host pop.xxxxxy.com" but when the OK button is clicked, it does display in the status bar "[time] Transmission for account xxxx complete. Now new message" at the left and the progress bar shows 100% at the right for a short while as normally.

i can confirm the message for kmail 1.10.3 on ubuntu 8.10.
Not very severe, but a message like 'Transmission failed for account xxx' would be cleaner.
