Description Kristjan Ugrin 2006-09-13 09:24:47 UTC
Version: 1.4 svn 0609102007 (using KDE KDE 3.5.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

If you have a playlist with songs, which have tags containing special characters (like “čžš„), and you use option remember current playlist on exit, amarok will mess up with those tags.
Example:
Šank Rock
will be displayed as
ÃÂÃÂÃÂàank Rock
after restart. More times you restart, more odd character will be added at place where “Š„ should be.

yeah, closely related to bug 133613.
the fix in that report introduced this problem for me (i did not have it before), but i am unsure how would it impact your case.

Yes, close one, but this is when you restart amarok with remember playlist on exit option. Tags looks like junk.
