Description Oliver Grimm 2006-09-08 12:20:00 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

After exiting and restarting KJobViewer the column layout is set back to some standard. To reproduce to

- start KJobViewer
- resize some columns in the job view
- exit KJobViewer
- restart KJobViewer
- the columns are reset

Exepected behaviour was that KJobViewer would keep the column layout.

Confirmed. Not sure if this should be a wishlist though
Comment 2 Cristian Tibirna 2006-09-09 02:53:41 UTC
Yes, it is a wish. This code is written in a time when saving very detailed internal status of the GUI didn't yet catch on.
Comment 3 Oliver Grimm 2008-03-02 13:21:25 UTC
still not implemented (KDE 3.5.8)
Comment 4 John Layt 2009-01-02 16:25:12 UTC
KDEPrint in KDE3 is unmaintained and will have no more new features
implemented. This request will never be implemented in KDEPrint as a result.

In KDE4 kjobviewer has been replaced by printer-applet which uses
system-config-printer as a backend. This is not an issue in printer-applet.
