Version: 3.5.3 (using KDE 3.5.4 Level "a" , unofficial build of SUSE ) Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.16.21-0.13-default How to reproduce: 1. Open KOrganizer. 2. Select one todo entry. 3. In the box below the todo list a todo page appears. 4. Select any piece of text in the todo page below the todo list. 5. Press the copy shortcut. 6. If you look at Klipper's memory, you see: BEGIN:VCALENDAR PROD...:VTODO END:VCALENDAR and if you try to paste in a KatePart you get nothing. Observed behavior: Klipper's memory contains BEGIN:VCALENDAR PROD...:VTODO END:VCALENDAR and pasting in a KatePart doesn't do anything. Note: Copying by context menu works.
Reassigning all KOrganizer bug reports and wishes to the newly created korganizer-devel mailing list.
Looks fine in kde4
The 6. can't be reproduced, however, ctrl-C / ctrl-V really does nothing (and RMB/copy / ctrl-V will work)
Ctrl+C/X and Edit->Copy/Cut are being sent to agenda view, that's why it doesn't copy text. Try: Selecting an item in agenda view select the text in the viewer Ctrl+C Click in agenda view and Ctrl+V
This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of korganizer (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.
Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
