Description Ryan 2006-09-08 04:49:05 UTC
Version: Kopete 0.11.3 (Using KDE 3.5.3-o.2.fc4 Red Hat) (using KDE KDE 3.5.3)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
Compiler: n/a n/a
OS: Linux

While using another computer, I noticed that about the time my screensaver kicks in, Kopete switches my accounts to "away" status, but when the computer goes to sleep, Kopete switches my accounts to "on-line" status.

When the computer goes to sleep, Kopete should remain in "away" status.

I believe the sleep settings are from the BIOS/CMOS settings, such that after 15 minutes the monitor powers off and the drives spin down. This is a desktop computer connected to AC power (not a laptop on batteries).

I couldn't really reproduce this. Do I need to wait for the power saving features to kick in or does it also happen when the screensaver kicks on?
