Description Nicolas Deschildre 2006-09-01 13:19:29 UTC
Version: 1.4.2 (using KDE 3.5.2, Kubuntu Package 4:3.5.2-0ubuntu18.1 dapper)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.15-26-386

hi!

First, thanks very much for the "install MP3 support" button when you want to play mp3s for the first time (in kubuntu)! It's much easier than trying to find the right packet to install and so on...

But when the packet manager is already open, trying to install MP3 support by clicking this button just fail with a message "there was an error" and that's all. I think putting something like :
"Possible reasons :
- Your package manager is opened. Please close it first.
-..."
would me more helpful, because, well if you don't know that two package manager can't be opened at the same time, this is confusing :)

OR better, i don't know if this is possible, test that the package manager is opened, and if that's the case, give it the task to install the mp3 package.

Keep the good work guys, i like amarok sooo much!

Thanks

Nicolas
