Version: 1.4.2 (using KDE KDE 3.5.2) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages When "store mood data files with music" is selected, I was thinking that it would be better to store them as hidden files. That way, when people browse through their music collections they aren't browsing a bunch of mood files too. So, I think a "." should be added before mood files when they are stored.
I thought the moodbar was removed from Amarok, are you sure this is version 1.4.2?
moodbar is in svn somewhat after 1.4.2, revision 576769 from calc moodbar ;) : You need to compile and install the moodbar program (which requires gstreamer) -- download it from http://amarok.kde.org/wiki/Moodbar || Technical explanation of original concept: http://exscalibar.sourceforge.net/files/ismir-2005.pdf
I think storing mood files as hidden is a good idea. I'll implement it after the kde admin folks get me an SVN account... also I'm on vacation at the moment, so my internet access is sporadic. But never fear, I'll get around to it!
Yeah, sorry I didn't specify. I used the patched 1.4.2 source located on the wiki page to include moodbar. Not as if it's relevant, since this is a feature request, not a bug.
Fixed as of SVN 580126 (resolving manually since I just now got permissions).
Thanks :D
