Version: 1.9.1 (using KDE KDE 3.5.2) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux When I turn kmail into offline mode it still keeps asking whether to stay offline or go online once a few minutes. Probably it takes place when its time to fetch mail automatically (I have both POP and Cached-IMAP account). It should ask at most once or even never - it's my decision to go offline. I think it's like this, because the user might have forgotten that (s)he's offline. But that could be solved with a special (gray?) sys tray icon, when being offline.
I've same problem... Here a screenshot: http://img296.imageshack.us/my.php?image=kmailaufdringlichjb7.png If you have e.g. 8 mail-accounts, it is very troubling...
I have two disconnected IMAP accounts and see the same thing. I didn't see it for a long time because I believe you partially fixed this functionality a while back. What caused it to start happening to me again seemed to be setting "Accounts->Sending->Send Queued Mail" to "On All Mail Checks". This is still very troubling to me, since I'm queuing my mail for a good purpose and don't want it to sit idly for hours or days while I forget to send it. I'm basically queuing it so I can catch myself saying or doing stupid things (unencrypted emails which should be PGP'd for instance) before the mail truly gets sent. So far it's worked 95% of the time :) Thank you, Matt
