some picture previews are corrupted on the right border.

The exemples attached are 2304 x 1728 photos.

Does the same problem occur when viewing the same images in other apps? (kde apps and non-kde apps). Can you attach a jpg file which has this problem?

The preview of the jpg got a problem in konqueror

Are you asking me to find and open the preview file in a non kde application ?

Image preview looks fine here. What's your Qt version, and version of the jeg library?

Hrm, same versions as me. Perhaps you can see if other (k)ubuntu users can reproduce the problem.

Can you try with a non-kde application (eg, 'display' or gimp)? Does it have the same problem?

yes, viewing the png from ~/.thumbnails/normal/ with gimp show the same problem :/
