Description Jonathan Warren 2006-08-21 19:54:39 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
Compiler: gcc version 4.0.3
OS: Linux

Some events, todo items, etc. have multiple recurrence patterns. For example, academic year patterns may repeat differently during the fall and spring than they do in the summer. The current 'recurrence' dialog in korganizer only supports one recurrence pattern per event with exceptions. Thus one sometimes must enter the same event multiple times -- once for each recurrence pattern. The minimum nice-to-have feature would be the ability to enter a list of arbitrary dates and times on which an event/item occurs. A more advanced version could allow the specification and naming of multiple recurrence patterns for the same event (e.g., by giving patterns names).
