Description Miguel D. 2006-07-31 17:00:37 UTC
Version: 1.3.9 (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

When I create a dynamic playlist in the "Suggested Song" mode, I must first manually add a song to the playlist window to get the suggested songs.

This behaviour is described in AmaroK's handbook (http://docs.kde.org/development/en/extragear-multimedia/amarok/dynamic-mode.html#id2541745), so it seems to be intentionally made, although I can't see why. I think it's not intuitive, because when you want to get a suggestion, you don't begin by "suggesting" a song to yourself.

I hope you understood me :-)

The suggested songs mode uses the similar artist data retrieved from last.fm. Therefore it needs at least one artist, which means you have to put at least one song into the playlist yourself.
