Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.3) Installed from: SuSE RPMs Add new bookmark folder. Add some bookmarks into it + subfolder. Put some bookmark into subfolder too. Set them all as "show in toolbar". Now, enter any page, click LMB on the bookmark toolbar subfolder (which you just created) -- not the menu -- and try to add bookmark. Very awkward message error shows up saying that this is one-time error message and there is no space on disk. 1) there IS free space on disk 2) usability: Konqueror is bored with showing the messages and after that the user has to guess what is going on?
I'm not sure what LMB is. Do you mean right-click on bookmark toolbar, "Add bookmark here"?
LMB = Left Mouse Button. > Do you mean right-click on bookmark toolbar, "Add bookmark here"? Nope. There is dedicated toolbar populated with bookmarks which were made visible. Now, I am talking about the case you have bookmark-folder on such toolbar and you select "add bookmark" in such folder (via toolbar, not menu "bookmarks").
Unable to reproduce for 3.5.3 from debian sid.
unable to reproduce for 3.5.3 from compiled sources.
Created attachment 17180 [details] bookmark toolbar just to be sure how to add the bookmark is clear for everybody
Created attachment 17352 [details] error message 3.5.4. Bug is still here -- btw. deletion is also impossible (after upgrade the error-counter was reset so I was able to make a screenshot).
I can confirm this bug in 3.5.7, kubuntu 7.04, installed from repositories
more info, this only happens with the filtered bookmark toolbar (using the setting "Display only marked bookmarks...") not when you have all your bookmarks in the toolbar.
I can confirm this bug in 3.5.9, kubuntu 8.04 It is gone for 4.0.4
Johannes, thank you for the info, so it is fixed then (closing).
