Description Ferdinand Gassauer 2006-07-28 09:13:57 UTC
Version: 1.9.4 (using KDE 3.5.4, compiled sources)
Compiler: Target: x86_64-suse-linux
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.16.13-4-default

Hi!

kmail disappeared/died without showing the crash dialog.

at least one message lost it's message body. ???!!!! (view source didn't show anything but the header)
Comment 1 Ingo Klöcker 2006-07-28 10:25:33 UTC
Most likely the message is not lost. KMail just thinks it has already downloaded the complete message for some reason. Try whether copying or moving the message to another folder (either on the same IMAP account or a local folder) helps. Note that moving within the same IMAP account is done on the server, so KMail won't upload its broken copy to the server. IIRC it has worked for me in the past. If it doesn't help then I suggest to recreate the IMAP account.

yes it is not lost, on an other computer I see it.

I think this is duplicate to http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=104956 and isn't fixed in kubuntu yet, but fixed in debian sid AFAIK
