Description Carsten Wolff 2006-07-26 12:41:36 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.3)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

It would be nice, if the CUPS backend would support multiple cups servers directly. This way, it would be possible to add cups printers from different servers to the print dialog, without the need of installing a local cups server with browsing.

I agree. (Though I don't quite agree with the details of your reasoning).

Selection for the currently wanted CUPS server could easily be done by changing the "Server: xyz.abc.123"-line in kprinter to a drop-down selection.

KDEPrint is obsolete, unmaintained and will never be revived. Closing all open bugs.
