Description bauerfichtner 2006-07-24 23:53:18 UTC
Version: 0.12.1 (using KDE KDE 3.5.3)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: gcc 4.0.2
OS: Linux

If you change certain settings for your webcam, these settings do not get saved properly. As far as I can tell, these settings include "brightness", "contrast", "saturation", "whiteness" and "hue".
When you restart Kopete. all the changes you made are gone.

I have the same problem with kopete 0.12 012.1 in ubuntu dapper and edgy...
Comment 2 Brandon Munger 2007-03-08 04:57:10 UTC
I can confirm this issue in 0.12.4 still exists in Kubuntu 6.10 with bt878 driver
Comment 3 Christophe Marin 2008-01-15 22:26:49 UTC
I get the same trouble with a BT848 card and SVN build (rev. 762001). The video standard also resets to PAL-B if Input = composite1 and resets to PAL-B if Input = television.
Comment 4 Christophe Marin 2008-01-15 22:30:30 UTC
Err. to PAL-B1* if Input = Composite1
Comment 5 Cláudio da Silveira Pinheiro 2008-01-22 04:48:22 UTC
This code was reviewed and fixed, working fine with the eight devices I use to test here.
The Standard handling is still being implemented, but I'm afraid it will only work with 4.x releases.
