Version:           3.3.3 (using KDE KDE 3.5.3)

KDevelop always runs KDevDesigner as a embedded application independent of what option the user chooses in the "UI Designer integration" option of the general configuration menu.

It would be nice if KDevelop obbeyed the user's configuration choice on that option.

Indeed it would. And in 3.4 branch it does. FIXED.
